The 2nd Annual Grand Junction Film Festival has just come to a close! Held February 14th & 15th at Colorado Mesa University, viewers experienced 2 full days of exciting and engaging films from all across the globe. A high turnout of filmmakers in attendance supporting their work made the festival memorable, and the quality of films screened was a benchmark in our tiny festival's brief history.

Next year's film festival is already in the works! Since the renovations at the Avalon Theatre will (hopefully) be completed, February 2015 will mark the return of the Grand Junction Film Festival to historic downtown Grand Junction.

We will now be accepting entries for the 2015 festival until December 20th, 2015. Submission is free. If you have questions or would like to provide a link to your film or film trailer for consideration, please email us: info@gjfilmfest.org

The Grand Junction Film Festival has become a draw for filmmakers from all over the world. Only in its second year, GJFF has seen its fair share of thought-provoking and engaging films from many different countries of orgin.

This film festival differs from others in the western region because of how accessible it has become for filmmakers to screen their work. Whether a student film or an intimate work created by a seasoned filmmaker, GJFF stands out amongst the others because of how it gathers submissions: no rules, no regulations and the winner is completely decided by the audience in attendance.

The call for entries is ALWAYS open. If the roster is full for the year you are wanting to screen, we will automatically keep your film for next year's consideration. The Grand Junction Film Festival will continue to grow, and it's the work of our filmmakers that will make each year better than the last!
